We invite you to get started learning to play the guitar with us in a no pressure, friendly environment. No experience necessary. This 8 week course will meet for approximately 1 hour each week. Acoustic and electric guitars are both welcome. Affordable rentals available!

This guitar-based class is all about getting hands-on experience with the instrument. We’ll learn and practice soloing and improvisation in blues and rock genres. We’ll explore incorporating the greatest guitar riffs of all time into our own playing. Time will be spent each week learning and practicing to play with a drum track to prepare for playing music with others. All in a casual, low pressure and fun environment.

The perfect introduction for children showing interest in exploring the wonderful world of the guitar. This class will cover very basic chords, rhythm, and strumming. These are the foundations of the instrument. But we’ll also jam out on some single string riffs. These are some of the greatest riffs in rock simplified for young beginning guitarists. The class will culminate in a short (optional) performance in the final session.
